What is AquaBLAST?

AquaBlast is a water-filled punching bag and fitness device for swimming pools. It uses water resistance, drag, and weight to provide a low-impact, total-body workout in the water.  AquaBLAST sets up fast and is portable, so you can take it with you.

How was AquaBLAST invented?

I injured my shoulder rotator cuff playing softball several years ago, so I began working out in my swimming pool using 1 gallon milk jugs. The water-filled jugs were 8 pounds each and made good resistance weights.

One day I punched a jug as it floated by in the pool, and discovered they could float in a neutrally buoyant position by adding air, water, and a small counterweight, and they were flexible enough to punch and kick 

Do you offer different colors?

As Henry Ford famously said, “you can get a Model  T in any color so long as it is black.”

Black is the only color we offer currently. We are considering additional colors in the future. Drop us a line and let us know what color you are interested in, and we will consider it for future production.

Is AquaBLAST safe? What material is AquaBLAST made from?

AquaBLAST is safe. We use PVC that is compliant with California Proposition 65, meaning that the materials in AquaBLAST comply with California’s strict requirements for the reduction of carcinogens.  

How do I use AquaBLAST?

Once you fill it with air and water, you punch, kick, push, and lift the bag. Use AquaBLAST for fitness, rehabilitation and just have fun playing with it in water.

Is AquaBLAST safe for kids?

Absolutely! However, AquaBLAST is not a floatation device, and parental supervision is always recommended when children are using the bag. Because AquaBLAST floats, it can easily drift into deeper water.

AquaBLAST is so heavy. Why does it weigh so much?

AquaBLAST weighs about 50 pounds because it is filled with 6 gallons of pool water. Each gallon of water weighs about 8 pounds. When you lift the bag above water, gravity kicks in and you feel the weight.

Underwater AquaBLAST is at equilibrium with the surrounding water, so it is a lot easier to move around, but you still have the weight of water, but no gravity.

AquaBLAST® is not holding water. What’s wrong with it?

The zipper may not be closed.  Give the zipper a good tug to fully close it. Squeeze the bag and check for leaks around the zipper.

Can I stand on AquaBLAST?

Yes. You may have to let some air out first so it sinks to the pool floor.

Can I cancel my order?
You can cancel your order within 24 hours of placing it. After that, it will have been processed, and you won’t be able to cancel. You can, however, return your items for store credit.

SHIPPING
Do you ship internationally?
At this time, no, but we plan to begin international shipments in the near future. When we begin this service, just be sure to check that the items you are ordering will clear customs in your country. You are responsible for all international shipment charges and taxes and VAT charges. 

What shipping carriers do you use?
We choose USPS, UPS, DHL and other shipping carriers worldwide. We will select the best carrier for specific countries to make sure your package arrives in time.

How long does it take to process my order?
Once payment has been made, 99% of all orders leave our fulfillment center within 2-3 days.

How long does shipping take?
We are shipping from Everett, Washington. Our average shipping time is up to 7 business days depending on your location. Once we approve international shipping, we expect the following delivery times:

  • Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand: 7-20 business days.
  • European countries: 7-25 business days.
  • Asian countries: 7-25 business days.
  • Rest of the world: 7-30 business days.

Are all my items shipped together?
It depends on the products you ordered. Since we may operate multiple fulfillment centers, sometimes your items may come with different packages.

What is your return policy?
You are fully covered and protected by our 30-day money back guarantee. All sales item are final, and cannot be returned. 

What do I do if I receive a defective product?
If there’s some sort of manufacturing defect, let us know within 90 days of receiving your item, and we’ll send you a replacement or issue you a refund.
