Harness the power of nature with the first underwater suction cup capable of attaching and detaching to swimming pools underwater!

The AquaBLAST® Suction Tether system is designed for use with AquaBLAST Punching and Fitness bags. 

The tethering system uses a state-of-the-art suction cup that attaches to most swimming pool surfaces underwater using the Clingfish Effect™.

Modeled after the Northern Clingfish, a small fish capable of holding 250 times its body weight, the suction cup is designed to attach to non-porous and non-permeable rough and uneven pool surfaces.

NOT ALL SWIMMING POOL TYPES ARE COMPATIBLE WITH THE SUCTION CUP. PLEASE REVIEW THE DOCUMENTATION AND CHECK WITH A POOL PROFESSIONAL BEFORE USE TO DETERMINE THE SUITABILITY OF THE PRODUCT WITH THE POOL YOU INTEND TO USE.

Pool Surfaces Supported

Most commercial swimming pools use a plaster finish. In general, vinyl, plaster, fiberglass, and concrete-based pools work well. The suction cup must create a complete seal around the area of attachment and the surface must be non-porous and non-permeable.

POOLS WITH SMALL TILE ARE NOT SUPPORTED - LARGER TILE (6x6 INCHES AND LARGER) MAY BE SUPPORTED, BUT LARGE TILES WILL REQUIRE A ROUGH FINISH TO PREVENT THE SUCTION CUP FROM SLIDING. 

In addition, extremely bumpy finishes, and some newer aggregate finishes, such as DiamondBrite, may have a porous finish and prevent the suction cup from adhering.

Setting up the AquaBLAST Suction Tether system

First, set up the AquaBLAST® punching and fitness bag in the swimming pool.

Connect one end of the adjustable bungee included to the AquaBLAST 20L bag and the other end to the Clingfish Effect™ suction cup. 

To attach the suction cup, stand in the swimming pool in 3 - 5 feet of water. Press the suction cup to the pool floor with your foot. Be sure to press the suction cup down evenly from the top and to press out the water trapped under the suction cup.

TIP: PRACTICE ATTACHING & DETACHING THE SUCTION CUP TO THE SIDE OF THE POOL A FEW TIMES.

Disconnecting the suction cup

To release the suction cup, pull up on the small bobber with your toes or use the side of your foot to slide the bobber inward until it releases.

DO NOT ATTEMPT TO FORCE THE SUCTION CUP LOOSE BY PULLING THE BUNGEE CORD! DAMAGE MAY RESULT TO THE SUCTION CUP OR TO THE POOL FINISH.

Care 

Avoid touching the soft suction cup material as skin oils and debris may adhere to the surface and reduce the suction cup effectiveness. Rinse and periodically clean with a drop of dishwashing detergent and lukewarm water. Do not leave the suction cup submerged underwater for extended periods of time. Keep away from direct sunlight and store the suction cup unattached (not suctioned).

Swimming pool water should be maintained at generally accepted standards for public swimming pools. Unbalanced pool water may reduce the lifespan of the product. The suction cup is designed for the application described.

Warranty and Returns

The AquaBLAST® Suction Tether, powered by ClingTech Bionics, has a 30-day return policy and a 90-day warranty when used as directed by the manufacturer.
